Haha..So far..uni feels more of a social activity more than academic activity.But somehow,i get this feeling of deja vu.Heh.Whatever it is, now, i enjoy meeting new people and hanging around people.Perhaps it's a 'gee-i-dont-wanna-be-alone-in-this-big-place' thingy,but..whatever lah..Now im sending more smses per day than what i sent in 3days last year?Hahaa..
Anyway,i'm still lost in lessons.Like.My mind isnt settling down yet.Like it's still having a holiday is some far reaches of the world.Haha.I soooo need to focus now ya?Coz im sure last minute things will not work this time round.(You've said it sya...so better listen to yourself)
Hmm.So far i enjoy effective communication(because i dont need to like solve mathematical questions) and a bit of econs (it amuses me how exaggerated something simple can be..hahaha).Finally made friends(one or two) from my tutorial group.And went for a lab session(which was a nightmare).
So briefly speaking,my A18 has lots and lots and lots of international students.Haha.For effective comm tutorial,we had to interpret a picture.As usual,a bored me came up with a ridiculous storyline about the story.Which highly amuses my other groupmates.Heh.Then afterwards,3 pairs of people came and did a bit of role play,with the same script,but different things to be said.And we had to guess what was they trying to tell us.Again,out of boredom i said that the guys were planning to rob a bank...and to my surprise i hit the nail right on the head.Heh.The whole class was impressed.Haha.Then for the second one...since it's a couple..i said that they were planning to get married.And i was right again.The third act was obvious so everyone know what it was.haha..At least i made people laugh=).
And for maths tutorial,we had to introduce ourselves to the tutor.Like i said.There's lots and lots and lots of international students in my group.So the introduction went something like...

[Insert laughter from the class.The tutor doesnt seem to have any reactions-clearly a non-local?But i'm surprised that like quite a bit of the international student know what im talking about] Someone somewhere behind me:Nice one! (Clearly a local..hahahaaaa..)
Seriously.I was intimidated by the way they presented themselves.Like,they are proud ambassadors of their country.Hmmm.Maybe if im overseas i'd want to stress upon people the little country where i come from?Hahaaa..
Insinyur Supper Hop So on friday,i was rather lonely for lunch.People had already eaten.Or people don't reply my message fast enough.I'm so glad clarissa was around and she invited me over to her hall.Heh.So i ate lunch there and we watched some MVs and listened to some jap songs.Yeah.Another j-drama and k-drama watcher!Haha.We left the place on time to get the shuttle bus and go for the next lecture.
After that.I went back to hall8.But this time to riana's room.Met her roomate.I showed her the cardcaptor cd which i didnt get to pass to huimin and she began screaming and blasting the music!Haha.Another person who appreciated ccs.Sat around a bit.Took a shower.And then riana showed me some dance clips that she liked on youtube.Haha.Can really see that she's into it coz she postponed her showering time for watching the videos.Haha.I'm impressed by people who can dance and play musical instruments,cos i cant do them xp.
Finally we made our way to old canteen a.Heh.Hang around a bit before we headed to hall12 area for a...BBQ!Haha.I didnt expect a bbq.I was expecting a canteen dinner.I think that the hall 12 and 13 area has a chalet feel to it.Very pretty.Very quiet.Heh.One way or another,i ended up in front of the bbq pit,helping zongtang and szejie cook the food.Zongtang is a scouts so he's expected to be helpful in this...Szejie sounds like he did lotsa bbq before so he also sat infront of the pit.Haha.It's been ages since i cooked the food and not just wait for them to be cooked.Haha.Fun!Fed myself more when i was in front on the pit than waiting for the food to be cooked.
Played card games.Heh.It was fun watching them play.Haha.Nonsensical.Isaac the bday boy had lotsa luck on his side...Or maybe we were subconsciously losing to him so he can be happier?Hahaha!But it is for a fact that he is lucky.Our group didnt have to drink that gross mix of drinks.Gassy drinks with additional ingredients that people with aces get to choose.Man..I feel bad for those people.But im glad it's not Gollum!Thanks to the luck of the bday boy~
Phototaking session was hilarious.Riana and alex and isaac started to make us do this stupid pose with a spastic smile.Riana had so much funny ideas ah..Hahhaaaa.I laughed hard.I think that's one of the factor contributing to my problem.Before i know it..it's already 10pm and it was soon time for us to leave and head to cineleisure.Played some game on the bus.Hehe.
When we got into the cinema,Meet Dave already started.Sat right in the middle of the theatre.Hmm.Overall,it was funny.Not veeeeeeerrrryyyy funny but there was funny bits here and there.Storyline is kinda predictable.Heh.
So finally supper hop began.First place was at geylang.Of course i can't eat there.SO i joined huitong and vivie at the end of the table.They're not eating too.Hang around a bit..And everyone decided to talk a night tour walk around the area.Main road was okay.But..as we walked away..gosh..it was scary.I think all the guys walked in front together so that they will get to see who get to be picked up the most?They left the girls at the back.It was...awkward.I wasnt afraid of the ladies there,i was more afraid of the guys hanging around that area.Good thing nothing uneventful happened to us.It feels like a fright night.Next time maybe get one guy to walk down the road at a time..like..a solo night like that.Hahaaa
Then we went over to bukit timah area.There i can eat.Haha.Me xinrong,hweelian,jasmine,riana ordered a couple of dishes together..so we shared everything.Heh.Glad we did that or elsee..we'd be stuffed.Heh.
On the bus,the seniors were on the prowl to look out for those sleepers.I'm such a nice person.xp
Didnt eat at the final place.It was dessert time though.heh.I was super sleepy man.Watched people play games.Game of gollum was introduced to more people.Heh.Finally it was time to leave and i took the northbound bus to amk.Reached amk about 6.30ish am.Oh.By then..i was already a tenor..or maybe going for bass..It'd take another 2days to get better.
