I think it's time to switch over? Blogger has been pretty annoying whenever i blog.From the page not loading properly to blogskins that are impartial to ie to photos not being uploaded when i've uploaded it over and over again.Some people are switching over..so i suppose it's time to move house too.

Anyhow..New blog ==>here<==. Yeap wordpress.I think i'm growing out of the blogger blogskins and everything.About time i guess.So now it's about functional.I wanna say what i wanna say without getting annoyed at how it looks like.

Know what..I think i don't really like this blogskin..Gonna go blogskin hunting again later or something.

That aside, I'm back from Insinyur 09.This time round, I was a programmer.=D.

Saturday NE2 was pretty slack.I asked to do something simple because i wasn't up for a long day of standing and ushering.So i really got an easy job with R3.I scanned temperatures, got to sit down, and was in an air-con room all the way.I prefer being out there though.When i got home, i ate, showered and finally started packing my stuff.It was about 3am when i am finally done.

Day1

We reported for camp on sunday.My dad sent me in my cousin's car to hall 7.From there, i thought i'd be lost looking for the function hall.But good thing it's so prominent that it saved me the trouble of looking for the exact place. Had to choose the identity-a fedora hat,either black or grey. In the end i picked the grey one, despite black being my usual colour.Changed into the camp tee and waited for the whole thing to start.

It was pretty cool i must say, us wearing the fedora hat as an identity.Haha.A $15 identity.Had some introduction and we went off for lunch and to prepare for the first games.Me, kimbee,sean and sze jie were in charge of bomberman.Haha.We were like sticking masking tapes and raffia strings onto the floor.It was only the first day and we were already tired.Chilled for a bit before the groups came over.Riana joined us too.It was pretty fun when it started.Killing the freshies at the corner, not givng them any space to escape.Haha.Better still was when 3 tall guys squeezed into one small box.Wth.They were really clinging onto each other for dear life.Haha.Not that it helped them.It gave us the bombers easier jobs.On step and boomm!Haha.

Then we went over to meet the guys over at the obstacle course.Heard that the freshies had to direct their blindfolded partners through the maze using a mirror.Awesome or what?Haha.I went to the toilet to change.Man.It smelt strongly of pesticide.Gross.Anyway, we were told to go over for dinner in a tutorial room.To my surprise, the seniors were doing a fright night room?Pretty cool.Haha.The people in costumes were pretty scary.The thing is,the ghosts were pretty cute.There's a clown,2 japanese ghosts,1 schoolgirl with pigtail ghost,1 huge cloaked ghost and one ghost with a talisman on the head.Haha.Our room had masked ghosts.

Riana went back to dance and then she joined us.I was wondering why lixing and alex went out for awhile.Suddenly i heard a scream and some laughter from down the corridor.Sounds familiar.Riana?Hahaha.The whole bunch of us in the room were like giggling like mad.In the end, some of us did ushering.No idea what it entailed.I paired up with riana of course.We were put at a corner and was told to usher people down the right way.Well,riana being riana and me being me, we decided to 'bless' the freshies before the night walk.We were the self-proclaimed Guardians of the Nightwalk and we made the freshies to tasks to 'rid themselves of bad luck'.Tasks include holding hands and walk backwards,walking in step with each other,holding the wall saying 'Zoey zoey where are you?',covering eyes and ears and ignoring anyone else,walk without lifting up their legs,giving them cryptic messages,asking for magic key and all.Hahaa.Look.We entertained ourselves as well as zoey and seng who are further down the road too you know.Well, it was all fun before riana left and they sent groups of four down.

After that,i joined the other ushers.Man..They were playing charade and using difficult words.I was impressed on how melvin got to guess 'coal miner'.Seriously.Then after that went upstairs and tried the entire fright night hallway.Pretty freaky i must add.Haha.Got chased by the security guard and went over to canteen b to wait for transportation to bring us to Camp Christine.But that's not before taking group photo!

It was pretty awesome.Dump our stuffs.Get showered using all the cubicles.Chose our beds.Then was told to move to make space for others.Then shift again.I think by then i got tired that i just zzzzz.

Day 2

I woke up early for another shower.Cleaned my stuff a bit and then down for breakfast.heh.Bread and jam or tuna.The usual stuff.Hang around a bit before briefing.Then we set up our games and all.Urgh.I dislike grass.They make my leg itch.And.Those darn ants were constantly biting me.Pain you know.It was pretty hot but with the hat it was pretty alright.Telematch was pretty bleahh if you're not the one playing.I think i pretty much enjoyed watching people do but..the water games look reaaal tempting.

Games ended.Waited summore.Had dinner.Joined angels for a bit of game.Joined the freshies for mass dance.Haha.It was pretty fun.Too bad we didn't learn till the end coz it got pretty warm.So in the end some of us hang out on the 2nd floor right above the dancing gls and disturbed zanyan.Haha.Alex and simon (or was it either of them?) showed us the 2 pairs of twins at camp.We had the vintage point so it's pretty easy to spot them.The song got reallly stuck in my head.

After that..SP NIGHT AND INITIATION!Daxiong came over with like a carton of 100plus and ice.That was really heavenly considering the humidity and the warmness of that evening.More GoG photos and then we went on to say 'hi!' to the freshies.Haha.Started our own sp night.Seniors pretending to be freshies.Talking nonsense.Making groupmates talk to each other.Eavesdropping on conversation.Poking freshies with riana's magic wand.Blessing the freshies with the wand.It was fun chatting with random blindfolded freshies.They had their full names and group on their name tag so they are always surprised as to how we know their name.Haha.Riana wanted to look for someone but we got the wrong person.Ended up with a group of gargoyles. Riana pretended to be a freshie.I was a senior who brought her to them.Haha.Chatted with them a bit.One of the guys surprised me by correctly guessing who i was.He said 'I know you!The programmer for first day bomberman!'.Said that i was touched that he remembered me and then he replied that i shouldn't have said that as it sounded wrong.wth.Haha.Watched and listened to freshies saying and doing things.Other memorable moments include:
1)some guys confronting someone who walked down the corridor without following the markers and switched on the lights
2)looking for people riana blessed with the magic wand
3)watched this dude pretend to know palm reading and then went on to touch the girl's hand and then said that he didn't really know it
4)watched gene(pronounced as chromosome the 'gene' but riana and me read it as 'genie' like the magic one to annoy him) do a bankai to reiterate that he likes anime

Well yeah.Hang out with them for a bit before going up for a shower and sleep.Dang it was warm.Some of them went out for supper/snacks but i just zzzz anyway.

Day 3
Woke up early.Showered too i guess.Packed all the stuff to go over to sentosa.Beach games daaaay.Haha.We boarded the first bus to sentosa to prepare for the games.That was when i realised how close the cda complex is to the cemeteries and how nea the cda complex is to ntu.Hmm.Maybe i can get abg nash to send me?Haha.

Anyway.Had like the bested camp food ever in the history of halal camp food.Mee goreng with egg!Whoots.Anyway.Had breakfast and then a bit of a briefing.Was told to be one of the people in charge of change parade.That means water.Which i wasnt planning to go into as i..can't.In the end i succumbed to the heat and the beautiful cool water and just didnt care and went into the water anyway.It was pretty hard.I just like dipping in the water.I bet we were the only programmers in the water that day.Haha.Then again, everyone else had to be dunked or thrown into the water.It was alright.Calina then told us something pretty shocking.And woah was i impressed with what she did.

Games ended.I think we dried off pretty fast.I got pretty sunburnt.Think there was a bit of a free time.Joined the other GoGs and seniors for a game.And we got mistaken for angels.Haha.Thanks for calling us angels but..we're not freshies.It must be because of the game we were playing.Haha.Then there was the war of the worlds.Pretty interesting but pretty objectiveless.Then.The muah chee.Oh dear.That was painful for both the seniors and the freshies.And this time round, they only rolled over half the number of people at camp.No fair.Hmph.Went to shower.It was pretty flooded.Haha.

Riana and me decided that we can't eat the food that they gave us, so we had a snack over at 7eleven before joining the rest for dinner.Bleah.I just ate the chicken.Then again i didnt have a choice.After that went over to the koufu's side for a programmer's briefing.A pretty long one i must add.The clues for the amazing race were awesome.Like.Really awesome!Haha.Me and riana decided to become attached programmers to werewolves.At least we'll be moving around and not fall asleep.XP.

Went back to campfire.And saw.BOXES OF CANADIAN PIZZA.Omg.Daxiong damn nice ah.The freshies did skits.It was pretty dim so i can't se anything much.Joined the mass dance a bit.Haha.We didn't know what we were doing.Haha.Cheer fight wasn't as fun as last year's.And and and..I SAW A SHOOTING STAR!!I thought i saw it.Until some people around me said that they saw it too!!Haha.COOOOLLL!!It was this bright white light which appeared as fast as it disappeared.Awesome eh.Didn't make a wish but saw some others who did.Haha.

Anyway was told that the APs will be staying over at sentosa for the night.Fine.I thought that we'd be sleeping over under the skies or something.But then we walked over the siloso's side.To the costa sands.They've been talking about huts.I seriously had no idea what they were talking about until i saw the huts.I saw them in jo's pics before.I didn't know what they were talking about when they said to squeeze,until i saw the inside of the hut.There were already 8 people in the hut.I suppose they are sourons as simon(alex's twin as riana would call him) was there.It was pretty strange for me to just leave alex and then to see simon waiting in the room.Haha.

It was already 1am odd when we settled down and decided who to sleep where.Our brains were not really functioning so we just went along with what the others said,but not without feeling bad as one of the girls had to sleep on the floor.I was half-awake when shiquan came over to ask us to help charge the handphones.Since it was pretty warm i was just hugging the blanket on my chest and tried sleeping as straight as possible.

Day 4

Well, i was woken up at around 630am because of the heavy hain pitter patter-ing on the roof and the leaves falling on the roof and the wind howling and all.Dang it was cold.But it felt pretty comfy under the blanket as i shifted underneath it.Then my alarm went telling me that it's time for me to get up and shower.As i sat up, i notice something strange.My bottom half was covered with a jacket while my top half the blanket.Woah.The first thing that came to my mind was 'Who put it on me?' because when i went to sleep the jacket wasn't anywhere near me at all.That was pretty sweet.However it happened.Shivered quite a lot in the shower.Chatted a bit with the poor people who can't sleep curling up on the floor and then went down to meet the rest of the gang.They slept over at the huge pavillion, plenty of space but pretty out in the open.I was surprised that quite a lot of girls were there as well.Wow.Chatted a bit more with justin, the dude who couldn't sleep.Asked him if riana snored and he was all like 'Err..actually i don't want to say it but..you did snore'.Haha.He's marching with the colours party man.I'm soo gonna try to spot him next time.

Anyway had a bit of breakfast while it rained tigers and wolves (bigger versions of cats and dogs..haha).Oh dear.Not a good start is it?Then we met our werewolves and went off with them.It was raining hamsters and gerbils.haha.Good thing i had my umbrella.Thus began my day of walking and watching.Damn slack ah they all.I remembered running like mad people on my amazing race.THis group really did nothing to speed up.Haha.The gls are pretty nice to them.Got into a bit of a problem but since they didnt care i decided not to too.Some bugger got mean and took stuff out from my side pocket after listening to my story.Reina felt bad about us having to tag along and wanted to treat us for something.To save her from a bit of trouble i suggested slurpee which she really did buy for us.Gosh that girl is soo sweet.

Werewolves are a pretty nice bunch to hang out with despite getting distracted easily.We were on the bus to ecp when suddenly i felt the bus bouncing.Really.Bouncing.I turned and saw the bunch of them at the back of the bus dancing.haha.Sleeping beauty riana woke up and was really surprised to see them too.Haha.Let's not talk about how many stops they made along the way to ecp and the number of pictures taken when they know they're that late already.I had fun with their antics.

Then we tried helping with the bike allocation and all.It got pretty boring in the end so i just stood around staring.They were camwhoring.Lixing spoke to us saying that we can go back home and then return the next day for the sp night.That sounded good.Only thing that it was pretty late.No idea what time i'll reach home and all.But in the end i decided to like go back to the chalet and leave in the morning and the meet up again in the afternoon.Had lunch and dinner together.Haha.Younian drove us back to the chalet in eugene's friend's car.Man.Younian drove pretty fiercely.Scary.

Anyway,when we got to the chalet, we realised that noone had the key.Someone else was holding onto the key and we had no way of getting into our room to get our bags and stuff.So we were pretty stuck in another group's room.It was full of sleeping bags and bags.Played uno for a bit before finding a soft spot to sleep on.Were told to go up to sleep but then in less than 15mins, were told to come down as the people who was using the room were all returning.Sigh.Everyone was too tired.Finally,the doors to our room were opened, but,we don't have a card to put into the slot to switch on the electricity.Oh dear me.More waiting.Good thing i told my parents that i'm not going home that night.Else they'd be waiting and waiting.Finally went up to bed.Crashed.

Day 5

Woke up with someone nudging me.Then again, it felt like i've been nudged the whole night.Nudged to move aside.Nudged to sleep straighter.I'm suprised at how quickly i slept again after that.Anyway vivi woke me up coz i asked her to.Then i decided that i wanna hang out a bit more and snoozed a bit more.THen i woke up, washed my face and went home.Man.It was a horrible journey home.My head was aching like mad.My vision was pretty much blurred.I felt like fainting countless of times.Blasted music in my ear to keep myselff awake.Phew.Got home safely.

TOok a nap.At noon i woke up and throw all my dirty clothes into the laundry basket and handwashed some clothes.It felt good to have a good long shower and shampoo after all those stuff.Couldnt eat well because of the headache.Ended up playing with my cousin and watching some dvds with her.Got changed to meet up the rest of them at city hall.

ON the way to city hall, saw some camp people in the cabin as well.Haha.You know the typical camp outfit-waterbottle,shirt,shorts and group flag.Then when i reached the control station, i saw a bunch of people who are really well dressed with their dresses and smart outfits.Fancy dressing up so nicely for camp.haha.We're confirm the envy of others.Yeap like i said, everyone else wore dresses but me.Haha.Will i ever own one?It's SP night for seniors.The seniors were all paired up and had to go for dinner.Pretty surprised that i had an SP.He's pretty nice.We went for dinner with other couples of course.A 45mins dinner.Crazy or what?

Finally we went over to the ntu alumni ballroom.Took shuttle bus from buona vista to the place.It was pretty awesome place.The seniors went out for a talk.My my..It was a pretty scary revelation but oh well.It can't be helped.Just one more night mannn.Went in,drag some chairs over,walked around.Seng gave sharlyn a bouquet and me and riana and everyone around went like 'Woaahh'.Haha.Then after that, my sp came over, handing me a bouquet of flowers.Damn shocked please.Haha.We just had some small talk and then i got a bouquet.That was pretty sweet of him man.Last year i got my first stalk of rose for sp night and this year i got my first bouquet of flower from a nice sp.The guys in our group also chipped in to get all the girls a stalk of pink rose this time round.Sweet right?Haha.Wonder if i'll ever get flowers outside of sp night?Hahaha.Wait long long siaa.

The rest of the night was pretty alright, though it's not exactly my scene.People played games on the stage.Singing competition.Dancing competition.Ohh ohhh.Refreshments was awesome.dx they all took like 2 trays and put them in the corner for us.Hahaa.We took like lots and lots of 'family' pictures.The 3 generations of insinyur camp people.Chaos,Kratos,Gollum and Angels.Ok.Maybe 4.We had our hats on and all that.Programmers pics.All girls pics.All guys pics.It was fun.haha.WOnder if anyone would like to print it and frame it up.After that they opened up the dancefloor and all.Heh.THat's really not my scene.I was like just sitting and watching.And danced a bit for 'Nobody' and the couple dance song.Otherwise, just hang around looking at people.

Then we headed back to the chalets.Went over to the angel's side but most of them were showering.Watched them play Game of Gollum with the freshies.After everyone in the room played it,me and riana left to go back to our side.Pretty much nothing much happening.People lying around and sleeping.I read the newspapers after showering.Then someone bought pratas and fries.Ate a bit.Haha.I was really sure i didn't wanna sleep so i hang around looking at people.Then i got invited to play card games.Haha.Whoots.It was pretty funnn.Then after that,some people wanna sleep so slept they did.Then some people started drawing on people's hands and legs.Haha.Everyone must be reaaally tired to totally ignore it.The best was when su san tried to draw on alex's leg.He kicked a bit and then got motionless.I was giggling outside the room.Then su san tried again and alex sat up so suddenly to scare her.HHahaa.That was a pure win.

Day 6

Anyway it started raining and jasmine and dorance came over in their blue ponchos.Damn cute.I hang out with them for a bit more.Then i realised that everyone else was sleeping inside.Switched off the lights and closed the door for them.Then jasmine and dorance slept too on the table.I got bored sitting there alone so i shut my eyes too.And i guess i fell asleep for awhile coz i didnt realise that vivi left.It was starting to get bright so jasmine and dorance decided to go back to the angel's side.Me?I went in and slept right at the door.I must be really tired coz i think i was hallucinating.I thought sharlyn's bag was mine and used it as a head rest.Hahaa.I think i slept for an hour or so.

Then we had to get up and start packing.I went and washed my face.Sleepy sleepy.Shouldn't have went to sleep.Very hard to wake up le.Sat around waiting.Ordered breakfast.Decided to go for wee wee but there was someone in the toilet so i went over to the common one.Walked in a dazed mode.In front was this dude who i've always seen but never talked to.He realised that i was behind so he stopped and waited for me.So we intro-ed each other after one year.On the way to the toilet.Haha.A new friend found.Then lixing's programmers ordered breakfast.Got chased away from costa sands so we went over to pasiris park nearby.

Everyone had breakfast standing up.Haha.What a sight.Listened to the prize presentation ceremony.Annd guess what?Angels won.Awesome or what?Haha.Yeahhh.Happy happy.Went for lunch with them,but sat with my own people.Haha.Then headed back to yishun with zongtang.

When i reached home, i showered and went to bed from about 4+pm to 9+ am the next day.Awesome or what?Hahaha.

Looking back at the whole thing, i really enjoyed it.I'm sure that it's so much more fun being a freshie.The usual problem of language barrier is always there, and riana maybe right.But whatever it is, i like camp.I like it so much that i might consider joining next year.I know i know.Fasting month and all that inconvenient.Programmers quite slack.Can get the welfare people to deliver food.Haha.Or maybe i should be in welfare?Then again, i dont think any muslim students will wanna go for camp in the fasting month.I want to be!! I'm nuts.I think initiation night is addictive.

See how? I'm soo in if a senior of mine is in the main comm!We'll all be your arms and legs..like what we did for lixing.Haha.<3

I should have suspected that there's a big hole in ground waiting for me when i was feeling so happy on sunday. I had fun replying to comments to R1 peeps and can still feel high from the rain that pelted us on NE1.I was excited to meet some dear friends after a loong time too.

When i woke up with a cold, i did think of not wanting to leave my house.Ate my med and it got a bit better.But for the sake of meeting them all, i trudged on.I sweated myself out by walking all the way to the mrt station.Alarms should have started ringing when yuni last minute can't make it and farah too had a flu.When i got farah's message i did want to turn back.But what if rachel and shuxin were already out of the house, like i was? Huimin did say she's going to have a mini surgery but i was slightly hopeful that she'll come.We just went ahead.

My shoes cut into my feet.Heard some news about a schoolmate.Chatted with sx and rachel all the way till city hall.Haha.Got carried a way and didn't know where we were.No big! City hall opens on the other side.We walked around.

Looked for clothes and i looked for slippers to wear.I liked walking with sx.She's like a walking calculator and she knows if it's a good deal or not.Haha.Maybe we should go again?Halfway through i waited for hm to msg.I told her not to come and take a rest at about the same time she told me that she can't come.Haha.Made some purchases.Went over to eat at breeks.

The student's meal was pretty nice.Haha.I think it's worth it?We chatted for a loong time.Me and rachel finished our soup, main dish while sx slowly finished eating her meal.Which she didn't as she talked a whole damn lot.Haha. Me and rachel forgot about our icecream until the person asked us.By the time we finished our icecream, she still haven't finished her chicken! Hahaha..Sx sx..

It's nice to share my thoughts and listen to them.Talking about how fragile and unpredictable life can be.

Then i refused to give up on looking for slippers.So we made a last attempt to go to citylink before heading over to bugis to look for my clothes.Still chatted along the way.Haha.Sx sure does have a lot to talk about.Haha..When we finally reached, sx had to go away to give tuition.So me and rachel trudged on.Walked around.Found a pair of shorts that i like.When i like something, i'd just buy it.haha.Walked around some more for another top.

That was when tragedy strikes.

I was wearing a backpack.I put my phone into my myuk wallet containing my ic and ezlink at the side pocket for easy pocket.Told myself to be careful and check it often.It was at this particular stretch of shops that i suspect i was being targetted.I walked with rachel while checking out the shops.I dunno.Suddenly i felt like i didn't want to get separated from rachel.I let her walk in front and massaged her shoulders a bit for fun.Hm.I think she spotted a belt so i walked on a bit.But i turned behind and she was still at the back.So i waited for her to catch up.When i felt that she was finally with me i started walking again.Then i realised, rachel was still someway behind me.Strange.So i stopped and look at some clothes at the side.Then i heard the sound of velcro and a tug at the side of my bag.I didn't think of anything.Touched the pocket.Checked a bit.There was something in there.Then rachel came up and asked me to check my back as someone took something from me.Checked.Freak.My myuk purse definitely wasn't there.My ic and my ezlink!!Then something struck me.SHIT!My phone was in that purse!!!My head felt light.Panic.Then rachel pointed out that a person there was an accomplice.I wasnt sure what happened but i didnt want to push an innocent.(Fine..call me a softie.)Actually i wasn;t thinking much.I was pretty much relying on rachel that point on.We both we panicking.Couldn't think straight.We left the place in search of a police post.

I really couldn't think.If rachel didnt suggest to take cab,i'd be stupidly waiting to jaywalk by the road.Made a police report.And was told that we should have called 999 right after it happened and not to let go of the suspect.Sigh.If you're stunned, you can't think straight.If you can't think straight you can't be rational.I am an escapist so i wanted to get out of there asap unconsciously.I admit it was pretty dumb not to do the model answer thing.

By then my aunt already helped cancel my phone line.I/C handled by the police and ezlink, i don't think much can be done?I'll get a new one anyway.I just have to cancel it.I'm just hoping that they will try to sell my phone.Chuck my myuk purse somewhere someone can see and pick up.Ezlink,well..I'm hoping they try to use it on a train and hope their picture gets taken by the cctv or whatnot.I want my phone back.I really do.But a part of me has given up.I don't remember fully what other junks are in my purse. I just want them back.Please?

Life's pretty interesting.One event lead to another.Every decisions you make will have an impact on the direction you are heading towards.If everything was well and everyone turned up for the gathering,we'd be all having dinner at seoul garden at that time of the incident.I might not have to lose my myuk purse.If i decided to cancel because of the cold that i had that morning,i'd still have the phone.If i said that i wanna go back home after the lunch, i'd still have them. If i didn't insist on meeting just now with so many people not able to make it, i'd still have them.Sooo many what ifs, but there's no way to retrace our steps and redo them again.Would i wanna redo them?

I feel like things happen for a reason.Something is to be learnt from this experience.For me and for those around me.I'm still pretty bummed out at how blank my mind was throughout the entire thing.I didn't wanna think.I didn't wanna believe it happened.I should face the problem instead of hiding behind someone else.

I seem to have quite a bit of expensive life lessons lately.Well., just the driving license saga and this pickpocketing saga.I'll go broke if these stuff keep happening.Guess i need to really stop being such a kid and grow up.I don't wanna bring down those around me.

I miss my phone.

And rachel, thanks for being a witness.If i were in your place,I might not see anything wrong at all until you say that you lost your stuff.I don't look around my surroundings that well.I'm glad that we were where we were back then.*hugs*

[Jo's Belated B-day Hang-out]
So i finally get to see some of my jc friends.Where else but the part of the world my jc's in.Haha.Been some time since i saw them and i was over in the east.As usal, little miss punctual was there early.Haha.We sorta decided to go for the buffet at Hei Sushi.

Alright.That was my first time ever eating Jap food.Considering that i'd never be able to eat the real japanese cuisine,this is as close as i can get to tasting it.Well.I'd have to admit that it's pretty new experience(don't laugh!).And it also needs some getting used to.Next time, i'll stay away from anything with seaweed in it as much as possible.I don't like it.Nor do i hate it.Must have acquired it from childhood when i didnt like the taste of the seaweed being stuck to the top of my mouth when i ate a piece.All in all, i kinda like the aftertaste.I don't mind going there again with my other friends.Hehe.

It was nice seeing them again.Everyone is a little different.Haha.Anyway,we walked around a bit.And 3 of us bought bags from a pushcart at the ehub thingy.Yeah..A bagpack for school! Now i need a go-out bag.

Oohh..I got some おみやげ(?) from jocelyn. A magnetic postcard thingy from studio ghibli's store and some cookies!!OMG! I love jap's cookies. They taste soooo goood.Too bad royce chocs are expensive and my dad stopped working for that family-else i'd get it every christmas.Oh well.The cookies were gone by nightfall xp.

[Cycling recce #2]
Well, i was preeetty reluctant to go.I reeeeallly dislike the Slope of Surrender over at pasiris,beginning near ehub.But after a bit of consulting with dorance, i decided to go.I was free too anyway.

As usual,we all met as bedok interchane.I was a bit late.But not the latest.Me,dorance and kimbee were the only gollum girls there.Come to think of it, the total number of girls in the group was,5-6?Woah.Haha.

I didnt eat breakfast, so i was a bit dismayed that we weren't stopping at bk first.We didnt even stop at kitrunner.So i suppose they have a new bike rental place.Haha.Yeap.I was delighted to see that they stopped at the PCN Pitstop thing.That means....we can rent a bike from east coast and return it at another PCN Pitstop.I prayed hard that it'd be the sunplaza park one..oh well..that's a bit too optimistic.

We were all prepared.We put on sunblocks and went off.Haha.Chatted a bit while cycling too.Haha.So all in all, we cycled the usual route from ECP to changi.Heard that ntu banned cycling on the roads-i don't see the reason to cycle on the road in the first place.Haha.Oh.I named a couple of parts of the cycling trail that i did/didn't like. Upslopes are Slopes of Surrender.Downslopes are Trails of Thrill.Haha.Trail of Terror is the stretch of trail from ehub all the way till slightly after the left turn.Haha.You don't get what i mean do you?Maybe i shall take you there?

I was pretty surprised that the PCN Pitstop is just after changi village.We took like about half the time we usually take to travel from ECP to somewhere else back to ECP.Yeah!!My butt haven't even started to complain.=D.

Of course.My highlight of the whole cycling adventure has to be the stop at sunplaza park.SWINGS!!How i love them.Feeling my butt being lifted off the seat of the swing is scary and yet,exhilaring at the same time.Haha.I saw a pic that zongtang took.Man.My swing was like making a 90degrees angle to the ground.Awesome or what?!All hail meee.Hahaha.

I had fun.Enjoyed the company.Haha.Night cycling shouldn't be too bad rite?

I don't remember if i've posted anything related to this.Oh well.Here goes.

This time round i'm in R1.Grandstand all the way.This time round there are games which are kinda fun for the briefings.And the people in my group are really easy to talk to.Haha.But the difference with R1 and the R3 i was in is, R3 is more careless,crazy and hyper.R1 is more calm,cool and collected bunch of people.Of course!We'll be attending to the VIPs.It does intimidate me a little.がんばります。

CR3 was allright.We haven't gotten our uniforms yet so we were given this yellow top and we wore our own jeans.It was quite comfy.I got sooo tired after dinner,that i didn't have enough energy to be all genki to say goodbye to everyone walking past me.Hey.It is strange if i say 'Goodbye!Thanks for coming!!' while there's a bottle neck happening and they are all still standing right in front of me when i finish saying. Haha.But those who were there weren't the real VIPs so they're pretty nice.No.I'm not saying that the real ones will be difficult, but i think that it's better to be mentally prepared.

Got the uniform already.Veeryy red.Now i'm pretty stuck between a rock and a hard place.Mid-thigh length shorts or long baggy pyjamas-like pants.I think i'd have the shorts.Easier and more comfortable to move up and down the stairs.Long dryfit pants feels a bit...odd.I'll see how.The admin people still haven't gotten back to me.I'll see about it tomorrow.Hope they're not angry at me or something.If i like the shorts, yu ling doesn't mind switching with me xp.

We'll see how it goes =D.

[Other thoughts]
Alrighty.I'm gonna look for a new blogskin that will work in mozilla firefox.Have i complained to you before that my internet explorer and my msn messenger are pretty much useless?And do you know how long it takes for my 2year+ laptop is taking to get online after i switch it off? At least 1hour!!Thank goodness for my eeepc.Despite it being short on memory, it connects real well.And the msn works.And the IE works.Too bad the keyboard is a bit awkward to type in detailed blog entries like this.Else i'd rather not switch this laptop on.Haha.

Fixed my timetable.It's pretty sucky, but at least i have 2 other friends with the same timetable as me.I hope it'll prevent me from crossing paths with a certain someone.Man.Rachel must be glad to go into MAE.Please oh please transfer into EEE!!!That'd make my stay in uni sooo much more pleasant!

Oh.Note to self-Score nothing less than a B+ for the rest of my uni life.

Updaaatess are here..Well, let's just say that when i get online, i prefer to let my eyes do all the work.Blogging requires my eyes,fingers and brain to work.Hahaha.

Anyway..Here are some key things that happened..

[Family Chalet]

Over the Labour Day holiday weekend, my family had a chalet at one of the Pasiris Holiday Bungalow after soooo many years of not able to get it. It was awesome.At least 6 cars were parked in AND out of the bungalow compound.

Anyway, the first thing we all did was to organise all our things, the pots and pans, the bags and the toiletries. The guys, well, they were busy hooking up the karaoke stuff to the tv. Everyone just hung around.Finally they managed to make the whole karaoke system to work and that cues for me and my sis to get changed to go jogging. Haha.

Man..I am sooo unfit.I ran at a small section of the park and was choked by the smell of the charcoal and kerosene burning. I couldn't breather and well, gave up running. My sis ran around the entire park for another 40 mins or so. Seriously.She can run for 1hr non-stop.

I slept early that night because i didnt want to oversleep for the sentosa recce the next day.

Woke up early and joined the looong queue for the bathroom.Hahaha.I let the aunts shower first coz they're the ones doing the breakfast cooking and all.Nice rite? Anyway, went down for breakfast and watched a bit of a movie.Time flies really slowly if you wake up earlier i say. I even got time to learn how to play a new game.After which it was time for me to leave, but not before my aunts teasing. They were saying that i'm not really going alone and i was meeting someone to go to sentosa and back.Tsk.Yeah.An imaginary boyfriend.

Anyway, i thought that i'd be late but i was the earliest. Gosh. Haha.Let's just say we were late but the entire programme still havent started anyway.Coz everyone is late? Haha. Played captain's ball and our group won.'Our group' refers to our gollum gang and the gang of seniors i often see.Am i right to say they're kratos? i dunno.Maybe.Haha.It was fun.But i didnt do anything much.Xp.

THen we played this water game. I got paired up with isaac.We were the last one to go and in the end we didnt.Yay.Guess we're cheaters all right.

Then then then! My ultimate favourite game. Ultimate frisbeee.We went against other groups. First to score 3points win or sth littat.Of course we won.I didnt do anything much at all.Haha.Everyone was hyped up as we wanted to win 100plus drinks and snacks.Simple minded rite? Then the finals involved a 3-way frisbee match. We were leading 2-0-0.THen i think we got tired.2-1-0.2-1-1.2-2-1.2-2-2. I was standing at a shady spot.Not very action-packed spot.Watching everyone rushing to get the free-for-all frisbee on the sand. It was pretty violent with all the snatchings.Everyone said i played violently.Not really.A good way to make sure that the frisbee is yours is to jump on top of it, so others can't snatch it away from you. Then after a long time and lots of short passes...3-2-2!! We woon..Hahaha..Sweet.

Riana is crazy.She had dance in the morning.Then she joined us.Then she had inline hockey.So both of us travelled to the east together.Good thing we had seats.My legs were aching like mad.Then i called my sis to get someone to fetch me.So i told her where i was so she could estimate the time to leave. Then i got a call from my auntie.So i told her where i was, thinking that she's with my cousin to pick me up.To my utmost surprise.When i got to pasiris mrt, i realised that there are actually 2 groups of people waiting for me. My dad and my sis told me to wait for them somewhere and my aunt was waiting at another place.Omg.I feel so bad coz of the miscommunication. I saw my aunt and my cousin first so i met my dad and sis back at the chalet.

BBQ food was nice.But.I guess we're all grown-up now.No more running around.No more little adventure down the playground.Everyone was sitting and chatting and eating.It was sooo relaxing.I really liked it.The twins brought their girlfriends to meet us. Played taboo with them.Man.I guess i was sleepy and my brain wasnt functioning very well.So our team sorta lost to the couples.Haha.Showered and went to sleep, early...again.

I like the size of the bungalow.Not too big not to small.Maybe i'll have one like it someday eh?

I really miss being a kid.Going cycling every now and then.Playing at the playground.Playing with the sand.We didn't even do the things we used to do often anymore.I guess we are grown-up already.Bummer.

[May is the new April]
Well considering that my birthday month is an examinations month, no celebrations or whatnot until..well..examinations are over.Sucks eh?Yeah..totallyy..Not that my birthday has ever been celebrated grandly.It's usually a small and sweet little celebration.

Got lots of birthday wishes in school before the material science paper.Haha.The guys were joking that the entire hall should sing a birthday song for me.I told them it'd be a sight to see my paper with a candle sticking out of it.Haha.

Then on the last paper.I thought that i'd be uneventful.I had the usher interview afterwards anyway. I saw yannick and he gave me and dorance 2B pencils for the shadings.Haha.He said he took alot from the school and was going around to give them to people.After awhile, i was standing with the regular people i see.Evelyn gave me a cake.And she was happy to know that it's the first ever present that i got!Hahah.She's so sweet.Then yannick decided to join in the gift shower and gave me...a piece of mentos.Hahaha.

Ate the cake after the paper with evelyn for company. Haha.A tiramisu cake.Well, i'm not exactly a coffee person, but it's the thought that counts and it was kinda sweet.Heh.We chatted until it was time for me to leave for bishan.Well, i was early.Walked around,went to the library and finally the interview.Met some people i recognise and all.

[The celebration]
I went out with huimin to tamp1.Well.Nothing much that catches my fancy other than the tenchi playground that doesnt stock up on the plushies that i want.Bummer.And i fell in love with the fanta bottle/can thingy.Im soooo gonna get it the next time i see it.Then i go buy a ryoma plushie and put them together.xp.

Of course i'd be suspicious when huimin msg me the day after that to ask me out again. Sorry, but i wasn't convinced at all.Then at one point in time i suspected that some bunch of masterminds are behind it as although i was given a choice in the first place (tuesday or thursday) then halfway through it was impossible to change it to any other day or time. The only way to check it out is the ask farah when we were getting yuni's present.I thought that since she told me that we're getting is at the end of the month, i believed that the dinner/library outing that huimin dragged me out for is really just me keeping her company for dinner.

So when she changed the time to 7pm, i reallllyyy didnt want to go out in the evening and was contemplating if i should find another reason to go out.Come on.THere's a chance that it's a surprise and i turned up at northpoint in my jeans and my class tshirt or sth and i didnt bring anything other than $10.I needed to be sure.So i chatted to ayuni.And we figured out that something might be up.Opps.So we decided to meet up earlier to jobhunt(which was sorta unsuccessful) and then went our own way after deciding how to surprise them all back.

Sat at the library while pretending i wasn't.Haha.I knew of the grand plot, but i didnt know the details.Is someone gonna creep up on me?Or leave a note in a book?Haha.Then what?I was kept waiting for..20mins?Borrowed 2 books.Then finally, huimin came and gave me a note in jap that says that i should go to swensens.*phew*good thing i brought extra money.So apparently we were the last to arrive.Haha..Everyone was soo happy, so didnt have the heart to burst any bubbles.Haha.Ordered.And had presents giving ceremony and card writing ceremony.It was sure nice seeing them all again. Got a cup and a levi's tee.Haha.I like getting functional presents from them.I was talking to yuni, hinting a little about us having met before that.It took some time for farah to notice.Hahahaaa.Lotsa phototakings.It sure was funnn..Wonder when i'll get to meet them again?.Shuxin better bring the lighter.

I am so gonna have to postpone by birthday celebrations until i graduate.

Sorry..I'm like continuing on writing this post a month after starting.How horrible of me..There.I finished it.Blog about other things soon.

Exams over.3 months break is here.So many things have happened, so many things have changed.

And i still haven't gotten that card.

Oh well.Now that it's the break, i'll have time to do some catching up on things i've put aside because of school. Look for a job or something too.Not gonna waste my time doing nothing anymore.Of course, i'd like that.But.No.I can't.

Pardon the cobwebs and accumulated dust bunnies around..

Been too tangled in my studies..Too caught up and i felt like i wasn't going anywhere..Still am though..Haha..Fine..I'll admit taking double physics is crazy.With my current workload, I shudder to think about the future semesters.Will 'break' appear in my dictionary.

Somebody has to start focusing on her work.It'd suck to do badly.

Anyways..I'm lazy to blog about what has been going on.Too much information.Heh.

But..It's nice to take a good break every now and then..=D
